Baby shower invites

So this is an invitation I made for my daughters friend. I used all Cricut Access images and text. I used the flatten feature so that I could use the print then cut feature. Turned out really cute. Love it!

Sad news...

The following cartridges are retiring from Close to my Heart: Art Philosophy, Artiste and Artfully Sent. Art Philosophy and Artiste are two of my favorite cartridges!! If I was going to recommend two cartridges to someone, that's the two I would recommend. Get them before they retire on July 31st.

Cricut WISHES.....

• In My Projects...I wish there were options to save jobs in folders, alphabetically
• Curve text option
• More Writing Style font options
• Insert Image Tab...I with in the filter tab (the funnel) that the checked boxes would stay checked!!! while searching through different images/cartridges
• When wanting to change the font, I wish when you hover over the different fonts that you would be able to see what the text would like like in that font instead of having to actually clicking on the font and having to do that for each font you try. Ugh!

So, anyone else have wishes to add to this? I'm sure you do. Design Space can be frustrating at times. Add your wishes in the comments. Thanks

Design Space #4

When I work in Design Space I like to see both the Edit and Layer panels at all times. I can do this by clicking on the Layers tab and dragging it down and dropping it. This allows me to see both the Layer and Edit panels at the same time. If at any time I want to put the lower panel back to the top, all I have to do is drag it back to the top.

The 'flatten' feature is only used in the print then cut feature.

...After your cut project is ready and you hit 'go' the first time, you can arrange the cuts on each mat so that you can put more then one color paper on one mat. This cuts down on the number of mats.

Did you know that while in Design Space....by doing Control F on your keyboard when you are in the 'My Projects' tab, it opens a search engine to find a specific project you created. Nice!
